Report: Consumers warming to social commerce


More media companies are partnering with Snapchat to provide content geared towards a more diverse, yet niche set of audiences. Essence has launched its third pop-up Snapchat channel, which is aimed at bringing substantive news to black women, specifically millennials, a niche market that isn’t typically targeted, said Brahaani Mamo, Essence’s social media director, while digital media company Mitu launched a channel for US Hispanics.
