The University of Florida seeks an Associate Athletics Director for Broadcast Production & Creative Content. The position provides oversight for the GatorVision Department employees. Responsibilities include television broadcasting, streaming broadcasts, highlight shows and in-venue video boards. This position will oversee the production of all athletic event radio, video and highlight shows while working collaboratively with the Creative Media Team, and the Marketing and Communications Departments to develop video content for digital platforms. This position will play an integral role in maintaining positive working relationships with key partners such as UF’s College of Journalism & Communications, the SEC Network, the GatorVision student experience program, Florida Sports Properties and other rights holders. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Telecommunications, Broadcast Journalism or related field. Five years of experience creating and/or managing digital content, social media strategy, video editing/production, and/or graphics design. Three years of supervisory experience. Experience creating and/or monitoring department budgets. Working knowledge of broadcast equipment and network broadcasting consistent with the SEC network or other networks. Experience as a studio and/or remote producer. The capacity to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds. Details here.
