LinkedIn shifts focus to first-party data targeting

The pandemic caused lifestyle and workplace consumer behavior shifts, forcing marketers to themselves shift from first-party to third-party data for targeting, Lotame reports. Lotame’s Alexandra Theriault says, “The historical view of a customer from first-party data is now outdated,” and the company says US third-party data sales increased 117.07% from the second to the third quarter.
