Researchers boost global ad growth forecast

Global advertising is growing faster than predicted earlier in the year, per Magna and GroupM, with each predicting similar 2021 growth rates — 22% to $710 billion and 22.5% to $763.2 billion, respectively — excluding US political advertising. Both say global digital advertising will exceed 60% of total spending, and GroupM says the US, UK and China will account for about 70% of the total growth.
