Snapchat Spotlight program benefits creators, platform

Snapchat has paid more than 12,000 creators more than $250 million during the past year through its Spotlight program. Snapchat officials say creators are posting three times more frequently to Spotlight since it launched in November 2020, and noted more than 65% of submissions have been crafted using one of its creative tools or augmented reality Lenses.
